Heres a little personal post to break up the wedding madness…

Every year my extended family including Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and 2nd Cousins plan a family walk, so far they have accomplished some amazing walks all over NZ, even kayaking one, the last two years we have included our children who are old enough to walk, I have only made it to two¬†family walks, thus being a wedding photographer it’s a hard time of the year to get away for 4-5 days, and admittedly, walking……probably could take it or leave it, but the Tongariro Crossing was on my bucket list, so off we all went, not too sure if my 10 and 11 yr old could handle the jandle, needless to say, they beat us all out in 7 hours and caught the first bus back to camp…..there were some adventures along the way and it wasn’t all smooth sailing, but we loved every minute of it and would do it all again…

Heres some pics, scenery is not my forte….I was too busy trying to breathe….
